You know what it’s like all those last minute things to remember before you go on your holidays.
Passport – check
Tickets – check
Currency – check
Toiletries in see through bag and no more than 100ml – check
Baggage within limits weight and dimensions – check
All children accounted for – check
Partner accounted for – check
Correct terminal – check
Passport, yes again – check
More importantly, with space from September to December filling up fast -

Now enjoy your holiday. You’re cleared for take off!

Just like Pixar’s megastar robot WALL-E, we at Cavendish Conference Venues have our own little defender of the earth. Tom Mayers, one of our directors who has been blazing the trail for the Environment since we began over twelve years ago. Now while he’s never going to win an Oscar, nor be huge draw at the box office, he has been rewarded with a Green Mark Award for his continued efforts. In fact in case you didn’t know, we were the first Conference Venue Company to be awarded it in the UK.
Sometimes it good to have a bit of reality, when it comes to saving the planet!

The Key Ingredient to a Successful Conference – TOAST?

Ask any Conference Organiser what is the key factor to the success of an event and the answers will range from location, to facilities, hi tech audio-visual equipment to everyone turning up not only the speakers but the delegates too!
Yet, we suggest Toast! We believe that if the organisers are looked after, made comfortable on arrival in a sometimes unfamiliar venue that it contributes greatly to the mood of the day and if their spirits are high this will transfer to all of the other attendees. While a piece of bread that has been lightly toasted with a tea or coffee on arrival in reality will not make or break a conference it is both a welcome and a sign that you’re in the safe hands of a team that want your event to be a success.
