Cavendish’s award winning Green Credentials and in particular our unflinching focus on locally produced food resulted in us being awarded a major contract to host an event for the Plunkett Foundation www.plunkett.co.uk Surely the fact the Plunkett foundation has featured on the Archers is on some way connected to their decision to use our facilities, after all we are less than a 5 minute walk from BBC Centre on Portland Place. Again it cannot be a co-incidence that the organization is winning it’s on air battle for a local community shop. It amazing what a little London food produce can do

As electronic neophytes we really need advice as to the wisdom of including a link to LinkedIn www.linkedin.com/ on the automatic signatures that appears on the bottom of all of our emails. Maybe at the same time we come dream up a tongue twister to go with the thing.

Landfill

Landfill, What is that and how dare anybody send their thrash to landfill when everything is recyclable in one way or another! Just do it!! We at Cavendish Conference Venues do it, one way or another we do, do it!! Tall, low, short, long any which way we do, do it but everybody should do it, that is RECYCLE IT, now do it!

Twittering

Today we had 200 people at the Cavendish Conference Centre from Our Social News, Europe’s leading Social Media Monitoring Company which had people twittering and commenting on their Conference whilst they had speakers speaking and twitters twittering, it was a true recipe for controversy in social media skills, everyone has an opinion! The beautiful thing about it all is that whilst speakers were speaking, Twitterers were twittering about SPeakers speaking about twittering ! Great feed back on all twitterers and speakers!!!!!!!
