Disillusionment and a fascination with human sacrifice

To blog or not to blog seems to be one of the innumerable questions I face daily, is it worth it, well maybe sometimes just to say something. We are just starting the ‘conference season’ what a stupid phrase sounds like ascot or at maybe Chelsea FC. The hard fact is work is hard, we should be running conferences every single day, well we are that, though certainly the rates leave a huge something to be desired. Funny how in my little experience you normally get deeply disillusioned after the ritual burning of the catholic Guy Fawkes, this year we are months early, maybe that’s what happens when you get older. Disillusionment and a fascination with human sacrifice?

Twitter what’s the point

Could someone tell me the point of tweeting? Obviously I am missing the point. It seems to me it’s a bit like broadcasting a short email to all and sundry. For us obviously business is life so how do you tweet business, do we just endlessly repeat our name in the vain hope that this gets picked up by Google and then raises our ranking. It all feels a bit like a monkey tapping for the sake of tapping saying nothing.
